She tried the CPAP machine on various settings, she tried several different face and mouthpieces, she tried the nostril piece and in the end, she gave up on the machine.There were nights she would wake up choking from the air and fighting with the hose. If you are a face or side sleeper try to elevate yourself a little higher or you won't get any sleep due to tossing and turning trying to get that hose situated. She finally gave up on the machine and has been off of it for over a year. I don't know how they work for some and not others but that was her experience. Good luck with yours.</blockquote>
