The US federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour and has been at that level for the past 15 years. Now can you live on $7.25 an hour? If you can't then why do you expect somebody else to live in it? A UPS driver now makes more than $40 an hour to pick a box off a truck shelf and put on the porch. Now how come that is not considered  by some to be excessive? The most important fact  is that there's not a single task being performed by the people who will now be paid $20 an hour that you can't do yourself.....So tell me....why aren't you doing it yourself?</blockquote>
