Good union contracts move people into the middle-class..Government Legislation forcing, every employer to pay a certain amount doesn’t really do anything to move people into the middle class. All you did was raise the amount that is now considered working poor. And cost a lot of people their jobs.If you want more middle-class make it easier to join and form unions and employers to stop dragging their feet in contract negotiations.</blockquote>
