Outside of local and regional areas of strength it didn't have much national influence and much of what it did gain was accomplished through sheer violence and intimidation.Now that SCOTUS has granted state courts the right to hold unions accountable for damages and economic loss the employer suffers at the hands of Teamster union activities further illustrates the weakening power of labor unions.
