If I'm a part time UPS driver and I have a second job that also requires me to use "DoT hours" can I be disciplined if they want me to work but I don't have the hours left?
Can a driver be disciplined for using DoT hours at a second job?

I get that I can just not bring it up but I would rather not expose myself to the liability incurred if an accident happens.

If you get into a serious accident, you are screwed. You could be 100% not at fault for an accident. But of someone gets hurt, they will nail your ass to the wall.

Non DoT hours at another job are still DoT hours.
Just keep the total hours of both jobs under the DOT limit. If you only have X number of hours left in the day to work for ups tell them, then they have to lighten you up.
