Ok so i ordered my package on august first and it shipped on the 5th and it was supposed to be here on the 7th of august and then the clearing agency took it on the sicth it is now the 18th of august look

Can Somebody please tell me how long i takes for them to clear a package

Your best chance is to contact UPS directly, we're just a bunch of employees that congregate here in our free time and are unlikely to be able to get an answer on your package.

No clue on how long it takes. If you haven't contacted the person or company that is sending the package to you, I'd suggest you do that. Customs would likely contact them with information as to why it's being held.

No, they don't have to release your package.

Thanks to electronic processing the vast majority of international packages are cleared long before they reach customs. It sounds like there may be an issue with the customs paperwork on your package. There is nothing UPS can do at this point-----it is between customs and the shipper-----and there is no way anyone can give you an estimate of how much longer it could take before you receive your package.

and why is there so many warehouse scans

One a day so you know where it is at, and that it is not lost. If you just saw the first scan, and none other you'd be asking "my package is lost, help". Is this a high value package? if so if may be waiting on EIN #s. Nobody can answer your question, and can only speculate. Did you call the International number, or just the regular number? Don't know the Int number off hand.
