Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 3806264" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>Tuberculosis was all but eradicated here but is still a problem in the developing world.  Anyone who thinks that illegal immigrants don't bring viruses from their home countries is in serious denial.  It's not a matter of casting them in the worst possible light, it's just reality.  Just as that nurse who worked with Ebola patients was put in quarantine when she returned to the States.  Difference is we have a measure of control over that kind of situation, as well as with legal immigrants being checked out upon arrival.  But don't have that layer of prevention when people slip across the border and get past the Border Patrol.</p></blockquote><p></p>
