Another new entry into the Republican 'Never be President' contest.
It would make sense to have a former CEO run our country.
Why? Historically, good businessmen have been terrible presidents.
Maybe instead of a meme, you could provide me with a list of former businessmen who made good presidents?
Then you would argue about whether they were good presidents. Until recent history almost all Presidents were businessmen.
Actually most were lawyers or career politicians, or both.
Lawyers, yes for many but not to the exclusion of being businessmen. Lawyers didn't used to make the money they do today. Politician is redundant when you are talking about someone holding a political office.
I'm still waiting on that list of successful businessmen who have made successful presidents.
That sounds like the classic GOP/Libertarian argument that business people should run government. It's a stupid argument, because government isn't a business.
Our world has changed since then.
Would you prefer a peanut farmer?
I already said you would argue about whether they were successful so you need to tell me who you consider a successful president then we can see who was a businessman.
A community organizer??
I don't think it matters. Farmer, actor, baseball team owner, lawyer, general, CEO... makes no difference.
You know who I'd vote for? Someone who promised to do nothing.
I want an elderly "B" movie actor who was never a businessman. Maybe Kirk Douglas is available.
Don't go there.
their, there, they're,...carry on
This is shaping up to be the most ridiculous election ever.
Separate names with a comma.
