OK, I now can see the "chat room" sign in the upper right hand corner, but when I click on it, I only go to the lobby. How do I get into the room where we chat?

Helen, when you get into the lobby, on the bottom left you will see some colorful icons. Below those icons is a long narrow "box" that box is where you type, and the big box above that is where you see what has been typed by whoever is in chat. You can try it, even if no one is in chat.

You want Helen to talk to herself?

She can pick her color of print. She can pick the size and all.....ahead of time......then when it's "chat time" she'll be all set up. It's called being prepared. At least Helen has the guts to chat live.

Thank you! Finally I have access to the chat room. Thanks Cheryl and all! Cheryl, where are the pictures of your flooded town? Erica told me about it but I haven't found them yet

Hi Helen, glad to know you can get into the chat room now.

Erica is right, our neighborhood had some major issues with water and mud during the all time record rainfall last week. Sections of the street we live on were filled with over 3' of mud. No one could get in or out of the neighborhood for several hours while we waited for heavy equipment to arrive and clear a path through the mud. Tony and I were lucky, we had a flooded back yard for a while and the garage floor got wet but the mud pretty much flowed right around our property. Some of our neighbors were not so lucky...

On the bright side there was no snow.
