Soooo...anyone hear anything about this yet? I'd rather not work on a Sunday.
I would think that the only way that we would be on road 12/24 is if weather put us way behind.
I don’y have any plans for that day—I would work for $100/hr.
I’m only available for my bid schedule.
Triple time? I thought Sundays were double time
I am worth the extra multiple.
We are being forced ,no questions.
In RI, we can't be forced to work Sunday or a state holiday. Good luck with that.
Everyone's working, don't make plans.
You heard it here first....
me, and Jesus will not work on sunday
He's already taking his birthday off...
It's Sunday this year. Enjoy your 3 day holiday. Doesn't happen often enough.
option 3 for Jesus
Don't mess with Jesus when he has to drive on Christmas Eve....
Work on a Sunday? Sure thing, boss! See you there!
I used to working Xmas Eve, I’ll do it for double-time this year. The day after Xmas is more important to me, I want to get wasted.
Is there any clear standard of pay for Sunday work? I see double and triple time being thrown around. I would have assumed just basic OT pay.
I think it’s a supplemental thing, it’s double-time where I’m at. I doubt there’s any actual triple-time out there; I’m pretty sure Upstate just means he’d do it for $100/hr
Black Friday in the 177 is triple pay if you work. 8 hours holiday pay+double time for all hours worked. If you don’t work it’s just holiday pay.
I'd work that for sure!
Straight time in the Southern.
