Our center manager last year made all his Sups live by their dispatch so christmas eve wasn't bad. We called in for all address corrections and ran them if they were close. All the sups and the center manager were there until the last driver came in. We had UPS christmas dinner (hot wings from a local place) on the 23rd so no one would have anywhere to be. We have a new center manager now. I expect none of the above this year. Not because of the economy but because of the new center manager

I don't get UPS. People working until 9 and 10 on Christmas Eve. We are delivering boxes people, not saving peoples lives. For the people who look for the overtime then I can understand. But for the people that think that box is the most important thing in their lives is foolish.

Yes, I have in the past thought that way. But the way I am now treated as an employee at UPS makes me more and more treat this company as just a job. Do what you can and go home.

Even 95% of the costomers care less about these boxes than us employees.
