You are trying to compare apples to apples but different countries have different cultures, different histories. Small homogenous populations like Iceland and Finland are usually high on the "happiness" scale with various outfits taking polls on that. The U.S. historically had slavery, then segregation of freed slaves, limited opportunities for blacks. People with shared race, ethnicity, culture tend to choose to live with each other over living among those who are very different. Newcomers in large groups do that. The black population does that. Historically in black dominant areas there was limited opportunity. When drugs came along, as well as government policies that tended to break up black families, people got involved in drug distribution and fought each other over the right to distribute in given areas. It's a volatile mix that you don't see in homogenous cultures who have limited exposure to drugs. Thus a person growing up in Iceland will likely grow up with support from family and friends and a community that's very much like him. In a much smaller population you're going to have sameness. In a country the size of the U.S. with a much more diverse population you're going to have more individuality, more anonymity, more animosity, more sensory overload. There isn't a cookie cutter one size fits all so why do we have problems they don't? Now you'll tell me, no, that's not it, you're wrong, I'm right, the U.S. is satanic, demonic, whatever. There's no telling you anything, you already have your mind made up because your "ministers" told you the real reasons why. You just want to hear us admit it and probably want us to say it's because of demonic capitalism and we must bring the system down. Thank goodness there are still enough people who get up every day, go to work, keep the country going. Because people like you are poisoning minds.
