Let's see, what the "hive" at the BrownCafe has to say.

Be realistic.

Don't be stupid.

It's an honest question, and I would like honest answers.

I'll start:

1) Maintain H&W.... and improvements.

2) Maintain our pension.... and improvements

(including a cost of living increase for retirees)

3) Eliminate 17-I from the Central Region supplement

It's your turn.

Go.

I thought you said to be realistic. I see nothing but more concessions. Maybe an improvement in starting PT wages at the price of a pay freeze or greatly reduced pay increases.

Our pension are already struggling

Mostly status quo. Raises that keep up with inflation ect.

On top of this though.

Do away with part time progression. If progression increases are less than general wage increases I don't see the point.

Get full time progression under control. Four years is a long time to wait but the bigger problem I have is the raises. The last raise should be no more than $5.

Finally 9.5. Simplicity would work best here. You opt out of the list not onto it. Also go back to any 3 out of 5.

If we give them Saturday ground, which by all accounts we already have. We need something in return. If we don't get at least one or two major concessions from that, it's a loss IMO

What pension plan, are you in ?
688 has its own. It's not in bad shape.

What I meant many nationwide are. Pension have shown that they weren't really built to pay people 30+ years into retirement. I just don't feel is fiscally smart to throw increases on top of an already strained system.

Come on....

Seriously why does the last progression raise need to be $10+?

We've agreed to stretch progression out a ton over the last few contracts. The least we can do is get them better raises within that progression.

My buddy is a lineman apprentice right now. He gets $2 an hour raise every 6 months.

The Sat. thing could really become a big issue if UPS goes into it full speed ahead. A serious discussion
about "forced" 6th day, premium pay for a 6th day and bidding procedures. And you already know
how I feel about pay progression.

The snowflake generation, doesn't want to do physical labor.

Hence.... the need for automated Hubs.

Surepost is also something we haven't heard much about lately.

I want hard line drawn on "close proximity"

Is it 1/4 mile? 1/10 mile? 100 yards?
