I don't get the flu shot, and in seasons in which the flu has been nearly twice as prevalent, I still haven't taken it. I'm just not afraid of getting it again, and I don't feel the need. Pretty simple really. I respect the choice to get it, I just want the same respect in return. The narrative that I'm not doing my part is pretty sickening.
