Day After Thanksgiving

PT Stewie

"Big Fella"
Stewie, Christmas Eve is not a paid holiday.

Yes I know . Its normally a lay off day for the people that work the Twi and Midnite . But that does not bar me from complaining just a little bit because its Christmas Eve. Everyone is at my house having a good time ,my brother-in-law is eating all the shrimp, and I am at work until 9PM waiting on 1 late air driver to get back. Every year there is always 1 guy that gets back late. I would for go the hours and pay to be home with my family.
:not_fair:

Here we get double time for hours worked + the 8 hour holiday pay.
Our PT drivers are forced to work and if they need more they start at the bottom of the seniority list and force FT drivers. Higher sr FT can work ahead of lower ft or pt, but only a few of our guys do that. One year I work a little over 8 hours and was paid triple time for 8+ a few minutes OT. The feds got more of it than I did.
