Dear Teamsters, now is the time...

  1. Teamsters, now is the time for the weekly union dues that members pay to be used for the good of those members in parts of NC & SC who have been unable to work since last Tuesday due to Hurricane Florence. A check for at least 20 hours for effected preloaders and 40 hours for drivers is really the right thing to do and the decision to do it should be a no-brainer.

The vote yes campaign money could have been put to great use, such a shame that’s wasted.

  3. Hopefully Teamcare announces that anyone not working due to this storm won't lose benefits, they have done it before in similar situations

I would imagine that they would be able to collect unemployment during their time off..

It will take a lot of personal time off for them just to recover from any property damage also.
