Dedrick "D" Rose (UPS Roanoke Driver) broke his neck on Christmas day 2012 while playing with his young son. He is the single father of a 2nd grader and needs help with medical expenses and nursing care.
Dedrick "D" Rose is the nicest, friendliest UPS driver that you could hope to meet. He delivers heartwarming smiles along with your packages. He always leaves you laughing. On Christmas Day, 2012, D climbed a fence to retrieve his son's helicopter. He fell off of the fence and broke his neck, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. He spent many months in The Shephard Spinal Cord Rehab Center in Georgia, far away from his family and friends in Roanoke Virginia and surrounding areas. D had several surgeries and made promising progress. D is a fighter and will work hard to recover. With his faith and support of friends, I know that he will be able to concentrate on his son and his rehab. With help from donations, D will be able to pay the nurse who takes care of him 6 days a week. He needs a handicap accessible van so twice weekly trips to therapy will be easier. Let's deliver for D.
