Authorities say the dispute in Lincoln Park started when Alan Porter began banging a drum around 7 a.m. on Nov. 18 to wake up fellow campers. The 35-year-old Schisler broke the drum with a hatchet, Porter threw the drum at Schisler, who hit Porter with the blunt side of the hatchet. Schisler’s attorney says his client is remorseful.
