Discussion about company building new hubs in Paris and London with US profits

The President gave companies the tax break in February. Now you see articles where the company is going to build new hubs in Paris and London. Why isn't anybody discussing on why this is allowed to happen? With the new profits everyone should have gotten a bonus like other companies were paying their workers. Or improve building/truck fleet here in the US. Somehow the profits are being discovered in new improvements overseas. Will the union do anything about it? Or will it be dead silence again like usual?

As long as the company fulfills the guarantees on wages and benefits contributions the union has no say in how they spend the money. The Teamsters don’t own the company, something too many don’t seem to understand.

Because it’s expected that multinational corporations gonna multinational.

The Union could have pushed this angle in Contract negotiations. It apparently did not.

International is like our cocaine money

...then international must be doing really well because the folks in Atlanta were so jacked up on something they didn't notice they weren't getting any mail because someone fraudulently turned in a change of address card. Must have been all that white powder in the conference room?

This still amazes me...

So you believe high taxes are the key to a good economy?

Are you sure you want to punch out?
Soooooo you’re saying UPS can’t invest in its own business? Yeah sorry guys you aren’t allowed to build in London with your own money. We’re not sure why, you just can’t. K?

It doesn’t matter where UPS makes it’s money, it’s theirs.
