Does UPS verify HS diploma or GeD?

They passed all the subjects on the GeD except one. He is studying to pass the math portion. But doesn't want to miss the season work.

Do they hire without HS/GED?
Do they verify?
I know some jobs don't, wonder if UPS does.

Are we talking seasonal or permanent?

I would think that the would be OK if he were applying for a seasonal position but may have some issues if he wants to stay on after Peak.
