This is my 2nd go at qualifying I run under allowed 3-4 days a week, but they keep me on edge scared to fail. Im on day 30 tom. If I punch Tues according to contracy I qualify right?

Make sure you have all your days you drove written down , cause according to UPS your only at day 8 or so.

30 in a 90 day period. Our management team told a new driver he has to run scratch 5 days in a row and are giving him an extra 10 working days to prove it. Lying is just one more tool in the management tool box.

Drive for 30. Don't count office training if I am not mistaken. 30 days worked not calender days. Also how long did it take to get 30...in some areas I believe you have to get the 30 within a certain number of days.

Document all your punches. I would approach my steward around the 35things punch if UPS has not told you you made it.

The OP needs to also keep his mouth shut and not broadcast to everyone his progression in his 30.

They are telling you to keep it quiet at work, so that management won’t try to keep you under the days you need to qualify. Your steward can help you file after you get your days in.

I'll probably just call my union rep about this but how does 70 days in 6 months plus the seasonal period work. I wan't to stop dumping packages in (no misloads hehe) as quickly as possible.

They can keep you on probabtion for an extra 10 days if they feel like you need more time.

The contract states the probationary period may be extended to 40 days being the other 10 days are used for classroom training. Artcile 4, Section 1, Western Supplement
