Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 3359955" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>Take it in context of it's time.  It was like that everywhere, not just the U.S..  We've had terrible problems, we've come a long way, but it'll always be a work in progress.  For all the race baiting here blacks are infinitely better off than 100 years ago.  But the constant white bashing by liberals is doing nothing to improve relations now.  It's my theory, and I don't think I'm far off, that liberals realize that the run up in the national debt is seriously jeopardizing programs they depend upon, and are ramping up the White guilt to insure the money keeps flowing.  You can't keep beating people over the head about past sins and not expect a backlash at some point.  Solution?  A great economy with plentiful, decent jobs would be a good start.</p></blockquote><p></p>
