People don’t hate so called welfare programs because of the money that gets spent. They hate welfare programs because who they believe they help. Yet instead of talking about how peoples’ obvious prejudices is the real issue. We pretend welfare is about money and not about a lot of Americans saying I do not want the government to help these Americans that I believe are lazy or stupid or criminal or etc. That’s the whole core of the welfare discussion in America every time.</blockquote>
