Individually the rest of those programs are each less than 1% of the federal budget. It is not about the money. It is never about the money. It is about who as in who those programs are perceived to help that’s what so called “welfare” critics hate not the money spent, but the other Americans they perceive “welfare programs” are benefitting.</blockquote>
