I started in Nov this year as a seasonal pt handler and work on the belt sorting (hogs/feds as well) from around 3am to 7-730am and i know its supposed to be a lot during the season but i was wondering about if i get rehired afterward to stay on about the amount. How many trailers/packages come in during the rest of the year compared to thxgiv and Xmas and how long do you work on avg.?

There are 37% fewer trailers and you will work 37% fewer hours.

With the upswing in the economy there should be 37% more seasonals retained this year as opposed to last year.

The only ones who get kept on are the ones who wear Teamsters shirts to work.

No way to know for sure, it varies by location and shift.

Nah, My contract clearly states that "the employer shall create 13 part time jobs per additional 714 packages tri-annually"

None. That's why they are called "seasonal".
