Education Transfer

What's the protocol for getting accepted for a education transfer and about how long does it take to get processed? My HR (who happens to be on vacation this week) said we need to send paperwork up the chain of command but didn't go into specifics. Any help would be appreciated.

Education transfers take up to a month. First, you need to have acceptance letter from school, class schedule and proof you paid tuition. Once you get all that, you fill out a form (can be found on upsers.com), your Manager will have to sign form then give it to HR along with all the school paperwork. They send it out to district managers for approval. It can take anywhere from 2 weeks to a few months.

Plus, you can only transfer if there is an opening at your target building.
