If you worked there from 82-83 then they wouldn't have your employment records from 83-84. Try the company you worked for in 83-84

Some buildings have guard shacks and barbed wire fences. In such places, you're not getting anywhere near HR. Not easily, anyway.

That kind of stuff is kept a lot longer than 1-3 years. A lot of HR material is 10 years or more.

Just not that long.

Can't you just use someone else for your resume , I doubt anybody is going to actually check to make sure you was working here 35 years ago

UPS gets rid of all paperwork and data as quickly as possible.
Keeping old data and records exposes UPS to frivolous lawsuits.
It's hard to believe how many BS lawsuits UPS gets hit with every year.
I got subpoenaed many times in these type of lawsuits.
I rarely had any info left.

You need to contact UPS.
I think HR keeps minimal old employee data but they should have 82 stuff still around.
UPS will only verify position, location and dates of Start and Finish.

Mostly on the structure and "feel" of the GUI on our shipping software and Internet applications.
One other which was not GUI related.
