Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 4931290" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>The Left wants open borders, the Right, at least many of them, wants every last illegal removed.  As in all things we'll have to seek a compromise.  Close the border, but let the ones already here remain, without citizenship.  Let's face it half the country wants this, the other half wants that, on numerous subjects.  We'll have to learn to meet halfway with reasonable compromises.  This administration does this, the next rushes in to do a 180, we're going to tear ourselves apart.  I know some would truly like to kill the other side, want no compromises.  We're setting ourselves up to fail if we keep going down this path.</p></blockquote><p></p>
