Here’s my take on when Biden keeps getting brought up whenever Trump is criticized for his lack of transparency regarding the Epstein files
How long does an investigation of this magnitude normally take to conclude? A massive, global, blackmailing pedophile ring of the world’s elite? Part of this question is rhetorical but part of it is also me genuinely asking. I have no idea how long it takes to conclude, and correctly and legally finish and able to release to the public? Is it normal and expected for something like this to be concluded within 4 years of a presidents administration? Biden never gave us a deadline or promised to release them within a certain time, or at all, unlike Trump.
One difference between the Biden and Trump administration, where I don’t think it’s fair to bring up when talking about it now, is the Biden administration didn’t run and campaign on releasing the files. Trump did
Trump made it part of his campaign. Trumps Vice President, trumps two main leaders and heads of the FBI made several tweets and podcasts rounds talking about the Epstein files, telling their base that the elite were covering it up, that they were the ones who were going to expose the list. They were the ones who said they were the most transparent administration in history
Epstein died under trumps first term, in a maximum security prison during suicide watch. Arguably the prisoner with the biggest spotlight on him and most attention at the time. Trumps attorney general at the time is Bill Barr (who #1 is arguably a swamp monster to begin with and a strange pick for someone whose draining the swamp, but also strange because his father was the first person to hire Epstein, teaching at a school despite having no credentials. The same man also wrote novels about powerful elite space colonies who have pedophile sex rings (this is not a conspiracy, this is true).
Virginia giruffe, the most prominent Epstein victim who was trafficked out of mar a largo, dies under trumps second term. She makes a post saying she’s not suicidal, she then dies and authorities say it was a suicide, and her dad is publicly saying she did not kill herself. This is all more fuel to the fire
The Trump White House then continues talking about the files, incessantly. Trumps attorney general talks about the hundreds of hours of footage they have. The worst of the worst. She says she has the list on her desk
The Trump administration then releases “The Epstein Files: Phase 1”, giving massive binders of parts of the Epstein files, only to conservative influencers, and makes a point to make a media spectacle out of it, as part of their “transparency”
We then find out that these files are information that was already released to the public, but even more redacted then before. People start getting unhappy about the way it’s being handled
Then, seemingly on a dime, the trump administration turns, says that Epstein killed himself, there is no list, the investigation is concluded, and to stop talking about it
Obviously, people aren’t happy. After almost 20 years of Epstein being talked about, less than a day after the investigation is concluded, Trump is asked by reporters about it, and he freaks out and says “why are we still talking about Epstein?” He calls it a hoax, says people are dumb for believing it, and drops his base of supporters and calls them his “past supporters”.
They then release a video of Epstein’s cell that they say proves that Epstein committed suicide. We then find out the camera isn’t even facing his cell but in a different area, several minutes of footage is edited out, and metadata shows the video was edited and spliced together
Trump then tells the country that the list is fake and Epstein was a hoax and it was written by Obama (even though Epstein was arrested and died during trumps first term, so we’re led to believe that either Obama created a fake list to frame Trump before he was even president, or there was an absolute massive conspiracy where Obama destroyed the Epstein files and created new ones in between trumps terms, and that Trump didn’t have any files of the original and that were no whistleblowers or traces left behind)
We have two options. A massive, global deep state conspiracy framing Donald trump, or the other option is that the celebrity real estate developer who said he “knew Jeff for 15 years” called him a “terrific guy” and said he “likes women on the younger side” and is photographed and videoed together with Epstein more than any other known person on earth, might have some ties to him that he doesn’t want released.
Is Trump a pedophile? I hope not. I have no proof. But Occam’s Razor would lead me to believe the most reasonable explanation is that there is something in the files that Trump doesn’t want released. Trump ran beauty pageants, For women and for teens. He doesn’t do drugs. He doesn’t drink alcohol. His crutch is sex with women, as anyone who knows his history is aware of. And that was Epstein’s tool.
There is a big difference between how the two administrations handled this, and I don’t think it’s fair to bring up when talking about the release of the list or the transparency involved
