[QUOTE="chevyman, post: 264348, member: 390"] I don't put a lot off faith in polls. In our center there are ( just estimating ) about 115 or 120 delivery drivers and we have 5 feeder runs. When we had the meeting about the contract at the local two part-timers, one feeder driver, and about 25 Del. drivers attended. Although it is just our facility, I have not heard anything to make believe anything otherwise than this contract will pass. Maybe it's because the economy in our area is so bleak. Our economy here has always relied on GM and the automotive industry and that is shaky to say the least. There just aren't a lot of jobs period and maybe most guys realize they are lucky to have a job that pays well, with benefits, a pension, and a 401k that after all the bills are paid, if they haven't extended themselves too far that they can contribute a fair amount to that to help prepare for the future. I guess what I'm saying is from what I am gathering from most guys that I have talked to and if you will, what I am not hearing, which is not a lot of complaints, the contract should pass in our barn.
