    my eye insurance just knocked 450 off the price of prescription designer sunglasses.

  4. It's a valid question. It was cheaper for me to go to the mall and get a pair than what it was using my insurance.

    A lot depends on whether you get frames too. And pick something cheap from the Welfare rack or get something better.

    Now, back to your $450 claim. Did you just tell us that the Vision benefit now pays for the lenses?

    Frames and lenses? That is a new one on me! I, my wife and one of my kids got new glasses in 2017. Not one of them had the lenses covered.

    Can anyone confirm this change?

    Good job getting some overpriced :censored2: brand. Try a pair of Maui Jim’s and you’ll see what I’m talking about. And their customer service and 2 year warranty is the best you’ll ever see, google it.

    Personal experience, wife broke a pair of Banyan’s, about $250. I called MJ and they said send’m in and we’ll see what we can do. Sent me a new pair, no questions asked.
