There is zero risk to FDX’s A321 fleet….
They don’t have any and they are years away from operating any!

LOL..."Certs" refer to "Certification"....
The effort to Certify these types of systems on Civil aircraft would be huge and endless.
Interference issue abound just with 5G technology. Imagine further evolution, testing, modifying, reliability.......

Years away....there is time then....
It is hard to imagine what the certification process would be like......offensive weapons on a civilian aircraft.....true.
The easiest solution would be to quit flying to threat areas.......we(UPS) don't deliver to certain places...
Fed-Ex has such greed......they are willing to arm their planes...

They often come up with weird mods that don’t work and no one buys.
They have a Penetrator on the MD11 that pierces a can and fills it with foam. Use it once and it’s spent. It usually destroys items where there’s no fire just a false indication. LOL

FAA withdrew the Proposal for comments. This subject is dead for awhile. More than likely, FDX will forget about it and move on to their next time and resource-wasting scheme.
