I thought it would be an easy way to put in another 10 years with the company. Hourly rate was handler rate (might have been a bit less), and you could potentially drive 500 miles in one day. The driving didn't bother me. But, I couldn't take a 45-50% pay cut, no matter how easy the job is. You would carry some supplies, but that wasn't part of the job. The bulk of the job was to repair, and clean any reported drop boxes.The biggest benefit was, there was only 1 other person covering the same area.
