If you have the new Motorola IVIS please respond. Is there a way to turn up or down the brightness just on the keypad? In my Mack my keypad is bright and have I no problems punching in my trailer#'s and so forth. But I was in a spare tractor the last few days because of a PMI and the keys on this IVIS were so dim I had to use my flashlight to see what I was doing. Using the brightness control on the left hand side only brightens or dims the screen. I remember on last years model you could hold down the shift key and hit arrow up or down to control the keypad lights. Anybody played with it enough to know how it is done? Thnx

Have them but don't play with it to know. If its difficult to use have a mech take a look at it.

I've poored cups of water on them. Doesn't clean the keys. Just shorts out the IVIS.

Probably just a bad unit. Just use your dome light. It's not your tractor anyway. I wouldn't sweat it.

Found an instruction booklet in the shop at the hub....Push the Ctrl button 1 time and then use the brightness control on the left for the keypad. After you get it where you want it press the Ctrl button one more time. Thnx for the suggestions....
