Flavor of the month

This month it appears to be stops per car. I'm betting center-wise next month is smalls bagged.
SPC here started towards the end of January/beginning of February and hasn't gone away yet with no end in sight. Some number like 143, which is crazy for a center not exactly located in a thriving metropolis.

I heard in April the feedah fatties will have their blood pressure taken every day and their donuts confiscated

Agree. I have a few deliveries E/C since last week. I made a few calls and cleaned the gulch in a few spots. (I’m combined with the other route)
Can’t believe a bid route driver doesn’t know his customers well enough to get them there parcels.

When UPS stops worrying about SPC and STARTS worring about running this company it will be great!
SPC has always been an issue. They load you up and then ask you to find more leads on your work area .Who wants to do that when you are already got more than you can handle . I never went out of my way to do that .If it just fell in my lap I would turn it in .

We had a snow storm this week. They knew it was coming. We didn't leave until 10am and they called us in at 7pm. They sent people home. I went out with 220 stops; EC'd half of them. Makes sense.

Flavor of the month stopped at me. I'm back at the building and follow the "methods" to the tee and they have nothing to say to me. Load stand, hazmat brought out the trailer, the whole 9 yards. Red light flashing the whole shift from being backed up. They can go :censored2: themselves. I'm pulling the art of war; expect the unexpected . Haven't filed a grievance since I've been back and filing my first one in Monday. This place isn't worth my time or effort.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge

I doubt it

Trying to figure out why they think higher SPC = higher SPORH. The typical reality is that the more pieces you shove into a car, the slower they're going to come off because you can't manage your load as well.

Our center manager says he's doing his best to get stops down. We're running 10-11 hour days by design right now coming down from upper management while having a bunch of drivers layed off. Center manager says he can't get approval for lower stops if over allowed is too high. Like I said, a lot more pieces = crappier load = lower efficiency. Everyone knows that if you go out with 150 pieces vs 300, figuring out which day is more efficient isn't rocket surgery. Except those running UPS can't grasp this concept.

Stop density increases SPORH. Not adding more spread out stops.
