full time transfer info/experience request

I am a fulltime 23 year delivery driver looking to transfer center to center within the Western Conference. In 2007 I signed up for a transfer to a center I desired to test the response time for 2008. "Boom" UPS was offering the move in February.
December 2008 I put my name on the bid sheet again for 2009. This time it was serious. I wanted to move to a different center. Can anyone relate a transfer experience they have had in 2009?
