I know you only get paid for first generation family members, but does this mean you can't attend a great uncles funeral?

Parents, grandparents, spouses, siblings, father/mother in-laws and sister/brother in-laws.

You should still be permitted to miss work to attend a great uncle's funeral either via layoff/personal days.

Do not have any personal days, knowing my center manager will code called in.

The relatives mentioned are for paid time off. You are still allowed bereavement time for others. Contact your HR dept for help if needed.
