I was wondering i have these two trailers i work in and they are really busy and at times i cant always keep them down and at times when they do i really don't try because of how hectic they can get. And i was wondering if i could get fired for that if i keep that up and if so what is the process for my sup to fire me and how will they let me know?

Yes

Supe will walk up to you and say

"Your fired"
I had a supervisor delete an employee out of the system so that they couldn't clock in. After trying to clock in, confused look on face, same supervisor said "I just don't like you" and had security escort the hourly out.

We had a guy that UPS hated so much because of his poor performance. Once night he was loading a trailer and while inside a sup quickly shut and locked the employee inside. The trailer quickly pulled away and the guy has never been seen again. This was 2 years ago!

If you have your seniority, talk with your supervisor and then your shop steward. Tell the sup you need additional help because you cannot keep up with the workflow. If he doesn't like you and you can prove he is doing it intentionally, then you submit a grievance for him causing a hostile work environment for you. If he, or your full timer, says he just doesn't have the manpower to spare from your belt and no other load lines will send help (and if it is a regular occurrence,) submit a grievance against your full timer for intentional under-staffing. The latter won't go anywhere but enough of them will make waves for management to do something (maybe ...)

Well said amigo. Those character grievances filed on sups don't look good at bonus time and will I get my stock. You just gave this poor guy a weapon to fight with. Now see if he has the courage to use it

That's because he won a huge lawsuit and lives on a private island now.

Nothing a nice lawyer couldn't handle.

If you are giving a honest work day and being safe then you won't have to worry about that

Now if they can prove you are slacking off on purpose they will have to go the proper procedure to fire you

I'll repeat what you should do.

It's better to know what to do, than worry about "Would he?" Your super has no hiring or firing capabilities. He can suggest, and hint to HR/FT to fire you, but in this case the union would have your back for being overworked. If they do fire you, they'd ask for your hard pass and escort you out. However, if you are telling the whole story, you are working "to the best of your ability." That's not a cause for termination, just a :censored2:ty super that doesn't know how to juggle his people around when he needs to.

If you do, talk to a shop steward or call your local office. But that is if you have your seniority and a member of your local union.

Since I don't have to be 'on-topic' here,
I'll try again.

Did you ever transfer at Arby's, or did you get fired?

And how did the FX interview in Little Rock turn out.

And the tuition assistance?

We'd all like to know.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
