It's that time of year, after the holidays, and New Year Resolutions. Living in the Midwest, allows you to keep active in 3 seasons, however, from Thanksgiving to New Years, well the holiday season can cause havoc on your weight. Every year my husband and I resolve to lose a few pounds, usually 10 for me and 20 for the husband. So we will be starting our diet on Jan 2, 2009. We are currently spending a quiet New Year's Eve at home, drinking all the alcohol and eating all the Holiday treats in the house. We usually add a couple pounds to our initial weight in doing so, but the temptations are not there when we start our diet. How logical is that? But we have fun doing so. Happy New Year!!
