Grievance help

I'm currently being pushed to do trailer audits by management which fell under the job of a quality supervisor who is on leave. As an operations clerk I believe this is a violation of the scope of agreement article 1 section 2, as this is not in my job description. Management is trying to tell me I have to work as directed. I know write ups will follow if I refuse. I'm already doing my own and covering for someone else working 12hrs a day but now they want to make me do this too. Is this the correct stance I should take on my grievance?

Are you a clerk? and under CBA? They should know better.

Have you talked to a steward? As long as the Union Is ok with it....

Yes I am a clerk. I've talked to a few of my stewards about it and filed my grievance today. They both agreed with me. We will just see what comes from the hearing now. Ill give an update on the results.
