The Facebook Ground driver’s group has reports from all over the country saying their entire system is down. No packages are getting scanned/loaded and they are sending people home. Glad I’m not there today!

FDX has nobody to blame but itself. At it's core it's still the little B to B operation Dan Sullivan created. It was never designed to do what is expected of it now.

I see a iceberg in grounds future..
And yet they are still trying to push more and more volume to Ground. It will be hard not to laugh when management looks at you with a straight face and tells you,"People, Service, Profits."

I have had costumers ask me about their Ground pkgs that have apparently been sitting at the local hub for weeks. What a dumpster fire!

No need to combine just push more Express to Ground than keep reducing benefits at Express and they become basically the same operation. They have gotten rid of the time commitment already.

So how was November 2nd?
I heard it was a real sh@t show! I left Ground last year for an actual career with great benefits and a regular schedule. I got talked into coming back as weekend part time peak season help on my old route. Haven’t worked my first day back yet. But, I am part of the group text with all the other drivers under my contractor. Honestly, I don’t know how he plans to get through peak season this year. He has fired two drivers this week for posting videos to Tik Tok WHILE DRIVING IN THE FEDEX TRUCK!!!! The whole terminal has gone downhill so much since I left. There are only 2 or 3 drivers that are still there from before I left. The drivers that are getting hired now don’t usually last more than 3 weeks.

Ground can't even handle the 4Z freight now. FedEx will sell to Amazon or have to combine like UPS to survive.
