Again for the record I will LOSE this election. It's about the principle. The gentleman from Michigan is the one who the torch will be passed because the "RINOS" want it that way. I love my job most days and Mr FedEx is ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY correct. I like working for Uncle Fred. The machine works... much more than government. We are in an economically depressed area of the country, especially now that the war on coal has taken it's toll. At FedEx none of us work as individuals, but without the individual effort the TEAM fails. The pilots have a union.... good for them. We never missed a beat. I survived the brown out of 97.... we never missed a beat. Now here it comes.... I have put this bait out before. I was fired in 1994 after not missing a single sick day in 2.5 years. TBI, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation called me for an interview on 19 Dec. The senior and I didn't get along and there were a couple of full time routes come open. We have all worked for "shady" managers. He posted a full time route and I was number one on seniority....all those years ago. I left a full time job, had two small kids in diapers and was on food stamps to feed my kids on part time hours working for a fortune 200 company. I bid on the route, (short posting ;) ) went to the dr and got a note. When they asked me I told the TRUTH. Then senior left shortly there after but when push came to shove.... I still love my job most days. We provide a SERVICE to our customers and we ALL have to work together for the purple machine to work. Happy stay cation. I have two lovely ladies pool side and I pecking on the keyboard. I hope I can mark one item off the buck list tonight. Be safe when you blow stuff up. We can all agree to disagree. It's America after all.
