Blame the worker?Cool Solutions.
The article left out a lot of details. Was Montgomery a 22.4, runner , who was drinking too many Red Bull’s & no water? Not taking break until end of day ? Etc etc
What ever happened to personal responsibility? Don't let management push you. Know your limits.Blame the worker?
It would be interesting to see how many of the people who fall out in the heat are 20-30 years or more drivers. I would bet very few because they usually know not to drink Red Bull, how to stay hydrated and if worst comes to worse, they know when to stop and find somewhere to recuperate before things get too far. And most are used to not having anyone hold their hands.
Cmon bro, you’re better than TDU.

It's mostly on management salaries for them to take online training courses and the hourly time in PCM covering the topic. That's the bulk of the $260M. If you are expecting actual equipment....maybe a fan and the time it takes the mechanic to install...but certainly not on anything that actually helps.Ups says they have spent 260 million dollars on this issue. Again good journalism asks - maybe its WHERE your spending the money on this issue that’s the problem. How about hiring more drivers setting some of that money aside for future package trucks having better ventilation etc..
