Hi I have been waiting and waiting to no avail. I contacted UPS and they said my package was lost. Following a day of searching my package was on the move again. The problem is it is just going back and forth between Oakland and San Pablo and San Ramon. I live about an hour from each of those places, it appears to just be going in circles around me. Is my package ever going to come? It is a week late and I need to know if I need to take some action or simply wait longer. Thanks in advance for the help!!

You need to call the 800 number and force them to speak with a supervisor.

I have seen this before. The package likely has a bad address or bad information in the electronic data. Each building thinks it belongs somewhere else.

They need to put an intercept on the package and direct it to the proper building and address.

Sorry for the problems.

Pretzel man gave the best advice, but still some arrogant clerk will probobly just tell you to file a claim.
I suggest talking to the driver that does your street,if it keeps coming around,he may help you out.

OK that said, all you drivers out there that see multiple tracking labels on packages, this is the procedure.

Scan the correct label first.Hit the shift key.Click the override key and scan the other label(s)
This indicates multiple labels on the pkg. After doing this make sure you remove the imposter label.
Double labels are a much bigger problem than they realize.

Are you talking pickup or delivery? If I pick up a pkg with an old label on it I scratch it out with my handy Sharpie.

Delivery/when I said shift key,I meant the one directly above the alpha/numeric key.We were told years ago that scanning pickup pkgs was not necessary, but
I still do it for cell phones and laptops or any HV pkg.I actually cut off those old labels.

Wow! I just sent this link to a FB friend that it’s happened to far too often. It could be something simple like a smudge on the bar code sending it to the wrong location.
