Non-covered entities do not have any statutory support in requiring that you divulge private medical information. You are protected from discrimination based on a perceived medical status by the ADA,  and any coercion on the part of the employer to pressure you into divulging information you have every right not to is a common law invasion of privacy tort, and remedies for damages can be sought in a civil suit. This is why every employer who puts these rule into effect very quickly does an about face and rescinds them.</p></blockquote><p></p>
