Hoffa has filed internal corruption union charges against lil brother Ken "sellout" H :not_fair:for obstructing a federal investigation by withholding and destroying classified information related to IBT Vice President Rome "el gato" A. Rome A was charged with corruption in February, but has used delay tactics to avoid any hearing for nine months and counting.

Everyone knows that Hoffa and Ken H attempted to protect "el gato" because it was election season and he had plenty of dirt on both of them.

So Hoffa files corruption charges on Ken H but not Rome A? He protects someone who got caught receiving gifts from employers after negotiating a sweet heart contract with Southern Wines and Spirits but instead goes after the guy who obstructed a federal investigation protecting the same scumbag?

About time for the Hoffa boys to show up. Can't wait to see how they try and spin this

After that sweet heart deal with SWS and a sham trust fund with Charles B, Hoffa's youngest son scored a nice job. It's obvious Rome A has a lot of dirt on Hoffa and everyone else and he's been able to survive 9 months. But Hoffa gave Ken H the short end of the stick. I'm celebrating in joy.

Don't ever want to sound like I'm defending H...but he didn't really give Ken H "the short end of the stick." H now gets to appoint the Article XIX Panel that will hear the charges against Hall. He'll pick a sweetheart panel...but it doesn't necessarily end there.

Yes Hoffa gets to appoint the panel, but the ultimate disciplinary action still has to be approved by the Independent Disciplinary Officer. Anything short of expulsion from the IBT will more than likely not be accepted by the IDO.

The good news is the dominoes have fallen and the members will be better off when those cheating dirtbags are gone!

Bunch of nonsense. Hoffa has to do it based on the IBT Constitution . the charges are just the IRB trying to justify staying on to collect a paycheck on our dues.

I for one am glad they are around
Without some oversight this union would be in worse shape than it already is

Apparently you support corruption Per IBT constitution Hoffa failed to charge Rome A. Nobody has ever beaten IRB findings. Rome and hall are going down. It's disgusting anyone can support organized crime.

I didn't know the IRB (TDU) was on commission. That clears a lot of things up now.

If you really want to see your (and other union's) dues money at work just google:
OLMS Enforcement (Convictions) of 2015 or 2016.

How about the guy on the Ohio Conference that "collected a paycheck on our dues" for years (and got busted) who wasn't even legally eligible to hold his position? Or a new vehicle illegally bought (over $60, 000) with our dues money? Does any of that theft bother you? Are you that drunk on the good old boys system that you can blindly support corruption and yet stewards can't get training FOR DECADES using DUES paid to the OC and that's what one of the functions the conference was supposed to do all along? This is only part of the IRB findings in only one report but yet it's OK to blame the IRB?

People who think like you perpetuate the corruption. You must belong to the club. Those who don't belong must be TDU heretics according to your mentality. There's no members allowed to question or hold accountable the leadership of unions?

What is happening to some union leadership is sickening for three reasons:
1. Greed
2. More greed.
3. Arrogance
Someone forgot where they came from and who pays their bills but yet will sell out members to stay in good graces with the companies and neglect the CBAs they're PAID to enforce.

Like I posted above...read the OLMS reports and tell us that union leadership doesn't have corruption issues.
You are lost and blind if you blame the "cops" for arresting thieves. SMH
