If that was the answer what a glorious world it would be. Sadly as I read through these threads I see the same old world rhetoric and old fashioned bull**** that you folks do not need. Kind of like the last elections . Candidates did not run on clear cut policy differences. Candidates ran on the principles that they were not George Bush and that they were against the war. The impresson is they would somehow make things better by being against. And thus you have the teamster elections. Rife with campaigns running on the concept of anti Hoffa and anti bad pension plans. To be against Hoffa and to be against bad pensions does not provide you with the right answers to fix the problems. As a management person here I have no agenda except to be anti BS. I could care less which union you select it does not affect me. What does affect me is seeing people I have worked with potentially get screwed out of their hard earned rewards. If you want to step up and start your own union then go for it. But when you do look your potential members in the eye and give them detailed concrete no BS solutions that you will implement. Don't waste our time by posting BS about UPS campaigning for Hoffa. Don't waste our time alleging secret negotiations with Hoffa. Clear the lump in your throat and tells us what you personally can do to make things better.
