We just usually buy each other a couple of small items to put under the tree. This year son and husband decided that mom gets her grocery getter so I am driving a 2007 Subaru w/ 61,000 miles on it and I got it on Monday. So that is all we are doing until after peak.
For my son he will get his Christmas gift from mom and dad the middle of March as the border collie pup will be ready for pickup at 8 weeks old then. The breeding took and puppies born about Jan. 15th so if all goes well he will have a pup in the house. We haven't decided what to do for my daughter yet as she just moved into her first apt. there are so many things she needs setting up her new place.

This year...probably about $700.
I really think that the thought put into a gift is more important than how much a gift costs...maybe that's a chick view of things.
I have a ton to be grateful for.....especially this year.
