How will the new contract affect senior preload worker pay

It seems like usual the preloaders are left in the dark. I continue reading about the new 22.4 positions and the part time raises but still no specifics for the part time veterans. What kind of raises will we get within the 5 year contact? Definitely would bring some peace of mind to us.

You receive the $4.15 / 5 years like the Full time veterans get.

$4.15 over 5 years with enhancement to your pension and healthcare. You will also have the opportunity to become a full-time employee with full-time benefits.

It will mean we get squeezed again. Red circled part timers have it made while the gap in pay keeps getting wider the past 20 years for the rest of us. Now people that haven’t worked a day get a big raise. Do not let this happen, no catch up raise has got to be a no vote for all existing part timers.

Bit you have seniority, benefits, paid holidays and vacations. The newbies don't.

Confused, many pre load workers choose to stay part time for different reasons. Many have other jobs, own their own business and just there for the benefits. Most of them choose not to drive. The only difference is we don't cry as much as the drivers do, no matter what age.

Well Gumby take a look at the part time person hired in 1986. They are within a few dollars of full scale driver and they have all the benefits too. We will never be even close to a few dollars from full scale, and that’s fine but the gap is too wide. Just because we have benefits doesn’t excuse the gap widening this much over the past couple decades. And to think drivers are whining about tiers

If your 65 doing preload you've made a lot of bad choices in your lifetime.
We got a loader that's been there since 92. He turns 60 later this year. Grabbed that pension fund. Wonder what he gets an hour though. Before 92, he worked 21 years for snap-on tools.

Trust me I know. But for decades the part timers didn't vote and didn't get Jack crap.

You out number us.... Go vote.

Aren't you getting a $2 raise from your current hourly rate in August? They told us at our hub that we were getting one.
