About 5 years ago one of Minnesotas top fishing lakes all of a sudden turned into a dead sea. People stopped vacationing there and the resorts all but went out of business. The DNR finally admitted that the locals were right all along and hired a group of hunters to all but wipe out the cormorant poputation which was excessive. It didn't take but a couple of years for the fishing to pick up and today its back to being a prime fishing lake again.  We don't like cormorants around here.</p></blockquote><p></p>
